We offer a complete garden design and build service across Oxford and further afield in central England. Our designs are individually tailored to suit each client. Consequently we have experience of a huge range of different styles of garden from contemporary to traditional, always with a focus on wildlife-friendly gardening.
Our own preference has always been to create wild gardens which will encourage wildlife – this means natural planting styles with native plants. We are passionate about plants and often, if left to our own devices, like to liven up the planting and add exotic species as well. We like to use organic materials and recycled products in the hard landscaping.
We often create gardens for people in Oxford who prefer a low maintenance garden, and this is easily achievable whilst still incorporating the wild theme. This makes for a more sustainable garden design in the long run too.
Planting Help
Plants are chosen for their visual impact, be it for colour combinations, form or structure, and also for their importance to wildlife and for culinary and aromatic reasons.
Garden Decking
We have also built some interesting decks in more wild areas such as paddocks and orchards where the use of wood rather than stone provides a more organic seating area.
Wildlife Ponds
Ponds are a specialty of ours and we are able to construct ponds to suit every requirement. Our favourite is of course the Wildlife Pond.
Custom Patios
All our patios and terraces are hand built to the highest standards using five spot concrete to achieve a stable base, and hand pointing the joints with wet mortar.
