Garden in Oxford

A shaded garden with an uninteresting border has been transformed with late flowering Rudbeckias, Dahlia Bishop of Llandaff and a natural pond. You can read a lot more about this garden, and see some lovely photos of it, on Helena Bernald’s blog.

Garden in Witney

An unusual recessed garden transformed into a contemporary garden with cedar decking, mirrored water feature and cedar hot tub.

Tropical Garden at Ridgeway Road

This garden in Oxford was transformed into a hot, tropical garden for the owners who have lived in more tropical countries. The patio in Victorian tiles creates a warm seating area. The eye is led to the bottom of the garden by the Indian sandstone stepping stones to the contemporary deck in southern yellow pine. The planting includes tree ferns, bamboo and bananas to create that exotic feel.
